Biggest Loser Trainer is a Child Abuser
This made us sick to our stomach.
On Friday, Anthony Badalamenti, a New York trainer featured in the NBC show Biggest Loser, was arrested on charges of beating his live-in girlfriend’s 6-year-old son and charged with second-degree assault, possession of a dangerous weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.
He’s being held by authorities on a $100,000 bond.
According to reports, the young boy was beaten with weightlifting belts and had multiple lacerations and bruises on his right hand, right leg and buttocks when authorities found him.
The boy has been treated for his injuries and was released to a relative.
The child beater’s landlord, who lives below the ‘family’, was the one who called authorities to intervene.
He told reporters that he heard the child’s cries for nearly a month.
He considered it a private matter until he heard the screams again on Friday evening, “The child was pleading for mercy. I said, ‘That’s it, I can’t take it anymore.’ ”
Sadly, the boy’s mother, Jessica Muniz, has also been charged with the same charges as Badalamenti and is being held on $50,000 bond.
The Muniz and Badalamenti families have refused to comment.
So disturbing!
